CONCERNS:

*We found out this week that my mother, Deb Nichols, has colon cancer. She goes in for more tests this coming week and has surgery in two weeks. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as we hope for the best. (01/27/2013)

*My nephew, Peter Poppy fell off his roof on December 19th and broke his left shoulder, right elbow and right shoulder. He has been completely incapacited and relies on others to do everything for him as he can not use either arm. They have 4 small boys ages 1-8 and will be without his income for at least 6 months. Please keep their family in your prayers, Peter has the first of many surgeries on January 25th at UW Hospital. They live in rural Shullsburg. Thank you! Patti (Jan. 15, 2013)

*Please add prayers for Delores Shanks who is Steve Bliss' mother. She has terminal cancer and is on hospice at pleasant view nursing home in Monroe. (Dec. 25, 2012)

*Please pray for Landon Bartels - son of Cuba City's business teacher, Emily. He was born early Monday, and they found a "narrow spot on his aorta." He was taken to UW-Madison for more testing, and perhaps surgery. (Dec. 19, 2012)

*Jason and Holli Johnson (members of our church) learned tonight that their daughter, Anyka, has been diagnosed with leukemia...not the news they were hoping for, but will begin treatment immediately. She is under great care at UW children's hospital in Madison. (Dec. 17, 2012)

*Please continue prayers for Kim Benson. Tues. Dec.11 he has scans and tests to see if the tumor has changed. Wed Dec. 12 he has the stints changed if they need to be. This will all be done at Mayo. Thank you so much for all the prayers before and the ones to come. He needs them all. (Dec. 9, 2012)

*Please pray for our troops stationed all throughout this world as they continue to fight for the cause of freedom.

*Please pray for our police, fire, and EMS personnel as they protect us daily.

*Please pray for our elected officials that God would bless them with the gifts of wisdom, justice, counsel, and fortitude, that they may conduct the affairs of man in accord with the will of God.

JOYS:

*Thank you for praying. Jean (Chambers) Sterling from Texas came through her tests successfully. (M.Chambers Sept. 17)

*We (Rich & Deb Nichols) received a call last Saturday that Dana (Rich's daughter) is expecting...YAY !! This will be our 16th grandchild. We are thrilled. (04-18-12)

*For God so loved the world that he gave his only son!
